How do you calculate $ at risk on a factory run?

Factory Bouncer · 15 years Jinjiang · Updated May 2026

Factory cost on the PO is the blocking hero number when any protection is still open. Each open protection also carries its own exposure estimate so you can see which proof unlocks the most money first.

Checklist

  • PO factory cost = units × FOB. That is the deposit-era blocking total when the run is not clear.
  • Materials open keeps full PO on the line: wrong fabric can kill the order.
  • Golden sample is a smaller re-sample and delay risk, not a second full PO.
  • Wholesale or rebuild risk can sit above PO when retail rejects the shipment.
  • Gate chips are estimates per protection. They can sum above PO because failures stack.

How Factory Bouncer does it

In Factory Bouncer: the hero shows factory cost still exposed. Each open protection shows est. $ for that proof. When a gate secures, its chip drops and the hero falls to $0 only after the full pre-production clear.
